Julia graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology at Memorial University in 2011. After working for a year as a Kinesiologist in Corner Brook, she went on to complete a Masters of Science in Physiotherapy at Dalhousie University in 2014.
Julia has been working in private practice for 10 years in Deer Lake and Fort McMurray before opening her own practice here in Corner Brook in 2022.
During her time in Alberta, she was able to advance her learning, specifically in sports. She treated many athletes from the Keyano college varsity sport teams, local football teams, dance and gymnastics athletes. She was also the on-field trainer for the Fort McMurray Knights Rugby team and is now a certified Shift level 2 Concussion rehabilitation specialist.
Her clientele ranges from athletic, post-surgical, orthopedic, geriatric, paediatric, neurological, and motor vehicle accident. Julia is passionate about manual therapy and active rehabilitation and incorporates all areas of her training to achieve the best results centred around her client’s needs and goals.
She is a strong believer and an advocate for living a healthy lifestyle. Outside of work, Julia enjoys activities such as volleyball, hiking, paddleboarding, snowboarding and spending time her her son Carter and husband and business partner Mark.

Devyn graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She then completed her Master of Science in Physiotherapy at Dalhousie University. Devyn can treat a variety of Orthopedic and Sports Conditions.
At the University of Saskatchewan, Devyn was on the Huskies wrestling team and obtained her NCCP Coaching Certificate.
Devyn has taken training in myofascial release techniques and can use a variety of muscle release and joint mobilization techniques in her practice.
Devyn also has a special interest in treating Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) dysfunction.

Heather graduated from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition in 2021 with a diploma in Natural Nutrition. She also has naturopathy certification from Academy of Naturopaths and Naturotherapists of Canada which she received in 2021, as well as certification in 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training which she completed in 2017. She is the owner of Heather Mitchell Health & Nutrition, where she provides nutrition and wellness consulting.
As a Holistic Nutritionist, she works with clients in areas of hormonal health, cardiovascular health, digestive and intestinal health, along with issues of the thyroid, diabetes, arthritis, weight management and more. After moving to Corner Brook in 2006 and completing junior high and high school, Emily moved back to the UK for university. Emily graduated from the University of Salford, Manchester in 2014 and went on to work in the UK for the next 2 years in an acute care setting whilst working towards her Canadian physiotherapy exams. Emily qualified in Canada in 2018 and moved back to Newfoundland in 2019 to continue her Canadian journey. She has spent the majority of her career to date in the public sector but is looking forward to providing her skills and knowledge in a private setting.
Emily is a certified Pilates instructor through the Australian Physiotherapy Pilates institute and uses her physiotherapy knowledge to ensure safe movement through functional chains. Emily has a strong interest in Women’s Health and has most recently completed the Level 1: The Physical therapy approach to anyone dealing with urinary course by Pelvic Health Solutions. With this knowledge, Emily is now able to assess and treat pelvic floor dysfunctions in both the female and male population. As well as pelvic health training, Emily is a certified Breast Cancer exercise specialist through the Pink Ribbon Program and also trained in axillary web cording. Emily has a strong interest in the neurological population and she believes exercise therapy is the best approach to help individuals return back to their daily activities and function.
